Well I got a lot done on my bag for my spoilee, but because I added a lot more things to her kit, it is almost like I made no progress :) I need to stay out of hogsmead otherwise I will have to send her package with 2 owls! Lots else going on but no time to post, maybe later.

My package is coming along nicely. I placed several orders at hogsmead last weekend and recieved them via owl this week. I have decided to make my kit everything a 1st year student needs. Still have to make the bag and I have an idea for stitch markers, I have started collecting extras, always my favorite part of the kit. I really hope Daisy will like it.

my Patronus

I am embarrassed to say that I haven't had to produce a patronus since I was in Hogwarts the first time around! Lucky for me I haven't ever run into a dementor. I had always had difficulty with the spell but after lots of hard work, in my younger days, I was able to produce a brilliant bald eagle! As expected it was just as difficult to produce one again, especially after such a long time! First finding a truly happy memory was very hard. I tried to use the day Grompton was born, but although I was extremely happy, I was also anxious, tired, and in a lot of pain! So I went back further in my memory and decided on my wedding day. As far as I am concerned it was my only truly "perfect" day. So I concentrated on that memory and yelled out "expecto Patronus" imagine my surprise when instead of a bald eagle, a fox emerged from the end of my wand! I guess my love of my husband has changed my patronus! I am so glad this assignment was given to us, otherwise I might have never known!!

My plans are all coming together!!!!!

OK my sock yarn quest, much like the strawberry plants in the garden, has born fruit!!! I have on the way to me some lovely slytherin colors (more or less) sock yarn that I really hope will not be itchy to my partner! I also orderd needles and the patterns. I have the fabric I need, now I have to sew. I haven't gotten a good idea about stitch markers yet. Hmmmmm...maybe I need to go up to the tower and see Proff. Trelawney and see if she can see what I will send my parnter and if she will like it. She is ever so helpful in that area (especially if you bring her a bottle of cooking sherrie). I am busy, busy busy with school work and starting my muggle business. Actually I just put grompton to bed and was on the way down to my laboratory to finishe up some muggle stitch markers. Maybe the idea for my partner will come through divine inspiration? Nah, better hit the library!!!!

I am an adult witch who graduated from Hogwarts in her youth, but is attending again to gain an advanced degree in potions and medieval muggle studies. I was employed and the US Ministry of Magic in Potions research and development, but my assignement has run its course. I am now trying to use my magicical craft abilities to cater to the muggle population. Having studied how difficult it is for the muggles to do things like knit and sew without magic, I feel it my duty to help them out! I am married to a wonderful wizard named Rudolphus who is currently working on assignment at the Ministry in the UK to help restore the landscape destroyed during the past few years by He who must not be named and his groupies. I have a son, Grompton who attends Hogwarts pre-school. We are all active in dueling and I really enjoy knitting with my pal Molly.
